We absolutely adore A Sick Day for Amos McGee ...Philip and Erin Stead have undoubtedly created another award winner. The story is phenomenal and the illustrations are extraordinary.
Mysterious and magical, from the storyline to the luminous illustrations. This is what children's literature is supposed to be, especially picture books. They open doors. Take flight. And make you want to read it again and again. I borrowed a copy from the library and now I want to have a permanent copy for my bookshelf.
